Jaded waited for the shuttle to set down on the pad before standing, she had no clue as to how she had let the other girls at WAAS talk her into Spring Break on Coruscant, however she had, and here she was. Glancing around as she strolled down the ramp to the deck of the landing pad, taking in the overwhelming sites around her, though she had been raised outside of Boston back on Earth, and visited most of the major cities there, nothing on Earth had prepared her for what she saw now. Everything is just there, straight out of Star Wars, Jaded thought, shaking her head to clear out the cobwebs of the long voyage. Jaded was so absorbed in her surroundings that she did not notice the young man approaching her at a quick clip, only to collide head on with him, sending both of them sprawling to the floor, "I am so sorry…" she sputtered as the young man helped her up, her eyes meeting with deep grayish blue eyes.
"Not to worry, my lady," came the reply from the young man, his brown hair tussled, "I should have been paying attention to where I was going, I am Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Knight, and I was trying to find my errant Padawan," he explained quietly, moving to help Jaded to her feet.
"Then I am doubly sorry Knight Kenobi," she responded quietly, trying to remember what she had been told by the travel agent as to how to address a Jedi Knight. "I am fine, and again, I am sorry to have delayed you," she told him, stepping to the side to allow him to pass.
Obi-Wan studied the young woman with deep green eyes and dark auburn hair standing before him, "My padawan can wait, if you would not mind the company of a lowly Knight, I would be more than happy to show you to your lodgings," he offered quietly.
"Thank you, Knight Kenobi…" Jaded began, to have Obi-Wan interrupt her.
"Obi-Wan or Ben," he corrected softly.
"Obi-Wan, thank you, I would much appreciated an escort, as I have a feeling that I could most definitely get lost here," she stopped, catching herself as she began to babble.
Obi-Wan laughed lightly, "Yes one can most definitely get lost on Coruscant, where are you staying?" he asked quietly, taking her by the elbow and beginning to lead her down a side corridor to a turbo lift.
Jaded turned on the PDA she had in her hand, and taking her arm back so she could use the stylus to work the screen, "It would seem that we are to attend a reception being given by Wedge Antilles, though how you are here and he is at the same time I have no clue," she muttered as they walked.
Obi-Wan nodded, the entire reason for hunting down Anakin, was to attend this frelling reception, "Yes, I am aware of the reception, and would be honored to escort you, Lady Jaded," he responded, pressing a button which summoned the turbo lift.
Jaded chuckled as the doors opened and they entered, "It is just Jaded, or Sam, your pick, there is no title before my name," she told him quietly, a deep blush coloring her cheeks at his assumption of her position.
Obi-Wan smiled, "Jaded it is, however, the title of Lady was out of politeness, not a ‘title’," he explained as the turbo lift dropped several floors before opening once again onto the landing pad for several speeders, "Ah, here is my transport," he told her, indicating the speeder parked nearer the door.
Jaded nodded and followed, settling into the seat next to Obi-Wan as they took off through the skies of Coruscant, making quick time for the hour to the offices of Wedge Antilles, where Obi-Wan escorted Jaded into the room, where several people stood around mingling.
