Leaning over the diner table, Willow snagged one of the light brown packets and tore it open. "This raw sugar is stuff the best. It's just like little bits of rock candy."
"Well, actually..." Fred started to say something about the chemical structure of sugar, then stopped before the babble escaped. Willow was picking up the sugar grains with the tip of her finger and then licking it off, slowly, and with a smile that stopped Fred.
"Mmm, sweet sugary goodness..." A little sigh. "Try?"
Hesitant, Fred touched the tip of her tongue to Willow's finger. "Yeah, just like candy."
