The halls of freedom were terrorized Tuesday last by an unidentified male wearing black robes, facial tattoos, and a crown of horns. He broke into a 387th-level window, disrupting the Senate sub-committee for Toydarian-Hutt relations, killing one and injuring two others.
Witnesses said that the male--believed to be a rare red-skinned Zabrak-- crashed through the window, shouting "Hallo, my name is Darth Maul. You killed my Master; prepare to die!" He then brandished what appeared to be a red-bladed lightsaber with a curiously rough-edged hilt, killing the Toydarian senator's aide. He ran through the corridor, injuring two guards, and escaped from the roof into thin air.
The assailant bears the markings of a pre-Imperial Sith who rampaged through three systems during the Battle of Naboo until he was stopped by late Jedi Obi-Wan "Old Ben" Kenobi. Is this a copycat? Was Maul cryogenically frozen and thawed to wreak havoc on the newly formed Republic? Do those tattoos go all the way down?
