The identity of Face Loran's female paramour leaves one wondering what he's thinking. After weeks of curiosity on the part of nearly everyone on-planet, the Times is disturbed to learn that this mystery woman is in fact a resident of newly discovered World 3.

Primitive and uncivilized, the people of World 3 are suspected of many acts of savagery, such as sentient sacrifice and cannibalism. While the Senate has vowed to explore these claims and civilize the people, one must wonder what sort of attraction can exist between a noble pilot/warrior and a semi-sentient, barely human creature. Clearly this will require intensive research and possible spying.
